A hospital in Heidelberg is seeking a dedicated Waste Services Officer to support the effective and timely collection, movement, and management of waste streams, including general, recycling, and clinical waste.
About the Role
As a Waste Services Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sustainable environment within the hospital. Key responsibilities include:

Emptying bin into compactors

Washing of bins
-
Going out with truck driver to help with run

Emptying truck when returning to loading dock

General house keeping
-
Relabelling of bins stickers
-
Any extra jobs supervisor may ask.
8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday
7am to 3pm Fridays

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Fit and capable of walking upwards of 10km a day
Commitment to environmental sustainability and safe work practices.
Ability to follow procedures and contribute to workplace safety.
