    Laurie Carrigan
    Director
    Laurie Carrigan launched Workforce Extensions Tamworth in February 2007 with the vision of creating a sustainable, high quality and competitive human resources consultancy. With extensive previous recruitment industry experience, including the management of large on-hired workforces, Laurie has been a part of local industry for many years, and has a unique understanding of the challenges they face. Laurie holds an Economics degree, Diploma in Management, Cert IV in Training & Assessment, is a qualified automotive mechanic and holds various Workplace certificates.

    On-Hired Services
    Under the labour hire arrangement, WE provide workers for your company and take responsibility for all elements of the worker’s remuneration. Workers may be provided on a casual, part time, full time or on-going basis. Under this arrangement, we will recruit, select and induct suitable staff and retain these staff as employees, on-hired to your business. Workforce Extensions pays all wages and entitlements, superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation insurance and PAYG withholding. An hourly rate of hire is invoiced to your business on the basis of hours paid to the employee from a duly authorised timesheet. On-hired agencies can be your on-hand professionals providing sophisticated staffing solutions while keeping those staffing problems off your desk. By using an on-hired staffing agency your business will have instant access to a team of human resources professionals with a depth of experience in recruitment, as well as a range of innovative recruitment sources and a tried and tested suite of value-add selection tools.
